Stefanie Davit, M.Ed., is the Associate Director at the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities at Rhode Island College. Her extensive background in educational leadership includes experience as a PK-5 principal and an assistant special education director, which provides a holistic perspective to her current work. A two-time graduate of Rhode Island College, she holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education. She is a nationally board-certified teacher and has received a Governor’s citation for improving student outcomes, reflecting her commitment to positive change in education. Ms. Davit was recently admitted to the University of Rhode Island’s Ph.D. program in education, with a concentration in special education.
