Andra Bell is an Educational Consultant with the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), where she supports statewide literacy initiatives and professional learning. With more than 30 years of experience in education, Andra has collaborated with colleagues across multiple roles, including classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach, and professional developer. Originally from Ohio, Andra earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Education in Reading Education from James Madison University. She is a certified reading specialist and Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist, as well as a certified LETRS (3rd Edition) Facilitator, Acadience Mentor, and Enhanced Core Reading Instruction (ECRI) Trainer. At PaTTAN, Andra serves as the Eastern Regional Lead for Literacy and as a state co-lead for the State Personnel Development Grant, Success for PA Early Learners (SPEL). Throughout her career—spanning five states—Andra has embraced the opportunities and insights that come from working in diverse educational communities and continually starting anew.
