Kristin Re, Ed.D., works in the Office of Educator Excellence and Certification Services at the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), where she supports statewide efforts related to educator preparation, certification, teacher pipelines, and the implementation of High-Quality Curriculum Materials. In this role, she collaborates with educator preparation programs, districts, and state partners to strengthen systems that recruit, prepare, and support effective educators across Rhode Island. Dr. Re began her career as an adjunct professor and secondary English teacher and later served as a teacher-leader and instructional coach. These experiences continue to inform her work supporting educator development and program quality. At RIDE, she is deeply involved in initiatives focused on strengthening educator preparation program approval and review processes, expanding pathways into the profession, and promoting the use of evidence-based, high quality instructional materials. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Northeastern University, where her work focused on curriculum and instruction and systems that support teacher effectiveness.
