Senior Data Associate, Co-Director of the NYSED OSE Technical Assistance Partnership for Data
Cornell University
Dr. Megan Garton is a senior data associate at Cornell University’s Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability. She serves as the Co-Director for a New York State Technical Assistance Center for Data, focused on improving outcomes for students with disabilities, families, and community and is an independent evaluator for a federal Full-Service Community School grantee consortium. She holds experience in coaching educational leadership teams to support sustainable implementation, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), data-informed decision-making, inter-agency collaboration and teaming, intentional de-implementation, and program evaluation. Dr. Garton has also worked as a special education teacher, administrator, and assistant director of a state community schools technical assistance network.
