Assistant Professor
St. John's University
Dr. Imad Zaheer is an Assistant Professor of School Psychology at St. John’s University and co-founder of the Nurturing Environments Institute (NEI). His research centers on three interconnected areas of implementation science in school settings: (1) developing implementable innovations, or high-value practices (HVP); (2) identifying factors that strengthen implementers’ capacity to deliver interventions effectively; and (3) promoting systemic, organizational-level change to support the implementation and long-term sustainability of evidence-based practices. Recently, his work has also explored low-value practices (LVP) and strategies for their de-implementation as part of a comprehensive approach to implementation.
