Beth Binns (B.A., M.Ed., Ed.S.) has worked in special education for more than 25 years. In her current role as Special Education Facilitator, she supports students, teachers, administrators, and parents in Georgia's Forsyth County School District. Over the past seven years, she has guided schools through numerous school refusal situations involving students with IEPs. She has been named Teacher of the Year at both the school and county levels in two different Georgia public school districts. Her work has been recognized through several prestigious educational grants, including the Fulbright-Hays Fellowship to study grassroots organizations in Morocco and Mali. She currently serves on the advisory board of Tanenbaum's Network of Inclusive Educators, a national community of educators dedicated to creating resources, mentoring teachers, and advancing inclusive education.
