Kionne Feaster, M.S., BCBA, LBA, brings 17 years of expertise to the intersection of education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Throughout her career, she has practiced as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) across home, clinical, and community settings, specializing in decreasing aggressive behaviors by teaching functional communication and socially appropriate skills to individuals with developmental disabilities. Across settings, Kionne emphasized the importance of parent and staff training to generalize functional skills and improve behavioral outcomes for her clients. Currently serving as a Behavior Specialist for Forsyth County Schools, Kionne provides systemic support to nine campuses, focusing on the implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies, data-informed decision-making, and the high-fidelity execution of individualized behavior intervention plans for K-12 students with behavioral and emotional needs. A dedicated advocate for interdisciplinary collaboration, Kionne spearheaded a district-wide school refusal “think tank" to address the attendance issues increasing across the general education and special education students. Over two years, she led a diverse cohort of administrators, mental health professionals, student support providers, and educators to establish a standardized framework for school refusal protocols rooted in evidence-based practices and behavior analytic principles. To further support student safety and staff efficacy, Kionne recently partnered with the district’s Transportation Department to develop streamlined communication protocols and specialized training for supporting students with disabilities during transit.
