Janelle Lavin is a lifelong New Hampshire native with 22 years in state government and more than a decade working in Special Education. She’s spent her career bringing people together, improving systems, and making sure families and students—especially those with disabilities—get the support they need. In her Special Education work, Janelle has helped build strong partnerships across agencies and municipalities, created statewide processes that make services easier to access, and led data‑focused projects to strengthen outcomes for students with disabilities. Janelle also volunteers at the NH women’s prison, teaching life‑skills classes. Janelle lives in Concord with her husband, three children, two cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon.
