Tamala Williams has worked in special education for more than 30 years. She began her career as a special education classroom teacher and district-level director of special education and preschool, finishing her work in Kentucky as director of one of nine regional special education technical assistance centers for the state’s department of education. A long-standing member of the Council for Administrators of Special Education and KYCASE Administrative Coordinator, Tamala currently works for the IDEA Data Center as a State Liaison and technical assistance specialist. She resides in Western Kentucky and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her husband of 47 years.
