Dr. Deanna M. Dobbins is a passionate and innovative educational leader with more than 20 years of experience helping schools create meaningful change and improve student success. She earned her Doctorate in School Administration from Oklahoma State University, where her research focused on how teacher grit and self-efficacy work together to drive excellence in education. Dr. Dobbins currently serves as a Superintendent and is the founder of Future Generations Educational Consulting, LLC, where she partners with school leaders to strengthen systems, grow capacity, and enhance outcomes for students. As Superintendent of White Rock and Bloomingdale Public Schools, she led major special education initiatives and secured over $4 million in grants to expand services for students with diverse needs. Her leadership of 1,100 students and 220 staff centered on building cultures of equity, inclusion, and collaboration. She is deeply committed to empowering educators through professional learning, innovative curriculum design, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) that address the needs of all learners. Her work has improved compliance, boosted teacher effectiveness, and raised student achievement. A frequent presenter on topics such as grit, leadership, assessment, and community engagement, Dr. Dobbins is known for her practical strategies and authentic approach. She continues to advocate for data-driven decisions and collaborative leadership that empower special education teams to thrive. At this conference, Dr. Dobbins looks forward to sharing insights on leadership, resilience, and the power of building strong, supportive educational communities.
